More new DPE laws for 2013 when selling French Property

Yet more rules from the French government have been announced relating to the DPE energy reports.

Further details later, but apparently you will need to provide bills to prove your energy consumption for the last 3 years on properties built before 1949.  

The old version of the DPE chart still has to be shown, but without the emission and consumption levels shown, which doesn't make any sense at all.

You will also still have to have the report done by the diagnostics companies, which now seems a waste of money.

I presume this is a popular venue for British F1 drivers when attending the Monaco Grand Prix, as that is where the restaurant is situated Monaco. I do prefer eating my fish and chips sitting on the sea wall looking over Cobo bay in Guernsey, but that's another story!
