Brittany Ferries are introducing a new limited ferry service from Portsmouth to Le Havre

Here is some news which will interest those people travelling east of Caen and particularly those going to Paris, Le Mans or the Loire Valley.

From 16 May until 8 September, Brittany Ferries will operate a high-speed service between Portsmouth and Le Havre every Thursday to Sunday, taking just 3 hours 45 minutes.


This new crossing will be in addition to the daily high speed Portsmouth-Cherbourg service.

The timetable is ideal for anyone who prefers a short crossing and, with a 07.00 departure from Portsmouth and an arrival time of 11.45, you'll be in Normandy in time for lunch.

Weekend high speed sailings from Portsmouth to Le Havre and Cherbourg from Thursday 16 May to Sunday 8 September.
